Japanese Language Support

Japanese was added as a new language to the game. Text rendering is now handled correctly with proper and really nice font support, making the game more accessible for a wider audience. I hope more languages can be added in foreseeable future.
Rune Forge
The Rune Forge is one of the core professions available to the player, focused entirely on manipulating and improving equipment. Maybe Rune Forge is not best fit for the name. Arcane Forge maybe?
The interface is built around seven slots. One central slot holds the item you want to work on, and six surrounding slots form a hexagram where you place sacrificial items. From there, the system offers two main actions: identifying items and enhancing them.
Identification depends on the rarity of the item. Unidentified gear requires a certain number of sacrificial items to reveal its properties. Lower-tier items need fewer, while higher-tier ones demand more investment. For example, a green item can be identified with just two supporting items, while a legendary item requires all six slots to be filled.

Once identified, the same setup can be used to enhance the item. Sacrificing items increases one of its properties. Adding more items strengthens the effect, and even small changes in how items are arranged can influence which stat is affected. This makes the process less about a fixed recipe and more about experimentation.
There is also a deeper layer through synergies. When items placed in the hexagram form specific patterns, such as triangles, and match the type of the item being enhanced, entirely new stats can be introduced. This allows for more deliberate shaping of gear rather than just incremental upgrades.
The system is designed to be tactical and enjoyable to use. Instead of turning excess loot into something you just sell or discard, you can experiment with item combinations. There is no need to hoard large amounts of gear, since items can be immediately reused to improve and shape your equipment.
New Scrolls and Gameplay Additions

Several new scrolls were introduced to expand gameplay options:
- Scroll of Wealth reveals containers on the current level, making it easier to discover hidden areas and secrets.
- Detect Life highlights living enemies on the level.
- Detect Undead focuses specifically on undead creatures, complementing the Detect Life scroll.
More tools for exploration, more fun.
Visual and Environment Updates
Torches were added near doorways to make entrances stand out more. I also fixed a small issue where enemies coming out of darker areas into torchlight weren’t rendering properly.
One of the next few cave variants was introduced, to add more visual variety to dungeons. Ground shadow were a bit upgraded, everything to look natural and nice .
UI and Quality of Life
Drag and drop interactions are now more forgiving, allowing items to be placed without requiring exact placement on slots. A bit more smoother and far less frustrating.
UI panels readability was also improved with better spacing, consistent font usage and slightly increased size.
Audio Improvements
Audio received a round of improvements as well.
Audio received a round of improvements as well.
Environmental sounds such as torches now react to player proximity and line of sight, so you will not hear them behind the wall. Monster audio positioning was also adjusted to provide same behaviour during gameplay.
Performance
And as a final note I doubled performance by optimizing rendering part of the game.
