One of the most fancy additions in this update is the introduction of Scrolls—single-use consumables whose precise effects are unknown until you put them to the test. Here’s what you need to know about the very first of these mysterious parchments: the Scroll of Random Teleport.
Scrolls: A Quick Overview
At the start of each playthrough, all scrolls are shuffled and assigned randomized “gibberish” names (e.g. Scroll named Gan Gna Tus). Every scroll in your inventory begins unidentified. Selecting one will show you four possible effects it might have, but not which one it does have. Upon reading the scroll, if that effect is unambiguous (for example, teleportation), the game automatically recognizes and labels the scroll for future use.
Scroll of Random Teleport
- Casting Options:
- On Self: Instantly teleports your character to a random safe-ish location on the current map.
- On Enemy: Targets an enemy within sight and teleports them elsewhere. Or nearer. It’s random.
- Safety Profile:
- Generally Safe: Most teleport destinations are non-lethal—empty corridors, open rooms, or harmless ledges.
- Risk Factor: There remains a small chance you (or your target) will reappear in a hazardous spot—embedded in walls, over lava flows, in deep water, or some another deadly environment.

That guessing mini game looks interesting.
Thanks. Yes, it is quite interesting imho. Same idea was incorporated into the potion guessing mini game.
